I'm not going to live life impressing others
but I'm going to live life impressing God.

I have always thought that I need to live by the rules of today's society, by doing 'cool' things and trying to fit in as much as possible, but lately, God has shown me a total different perspective of life. Everyone tends to get caught up in these earthly matters but sometimes we all need to stop just to think and reflect on life. You see, when I just stop to think, I'll of all these negative things and things I don't have but somehow I'd tune into God. The fact of how great, wonderful, loving, caring and big He is just makes me drop all my worries and everything that was on my mind just disappears.
"Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
-Phillipians 4:6-7
All my problems which appear to be so big to me now seems so small when I think of God. My problems and worries are just small little things as compared to who God is and how big he is. It's just amazing how who God is makes me forget everything that troubles me. Just the presence of God itself overcomes everything. He has always accepted me for who I am. He is always asking me to come as I am and He will love me with all His heart and might.
In the end of the day, these earthly things don't mater to me at all. What is on my mind is how grateful and thankful I am that God has blessed me with a great family and so many wonderful friends.
"The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What could man do to me?"
