The Blame Flame

Blaming. Complaining. It's everywhere.

People just use words but they do not conduct actions. I admit I do complain and blame, mostly on school work. All in all, I think blaming and complaining are metaphorically flames that burn away the good things. It's this big bright distraction that covers the good things in life that we were given out of God's grace. It burns all the good energy and thoughts, it only generates bad/negative energy. The thing is, when this flame starts, it passes on and spreads.

Many people struggle and build anger because they aren't satisfied with what they have. We always want things we don't have. We seek for things we can't have. We are just never satisfied with the things we have in our lives and take them for granted. Often we fix our eyes on the things that are untrue compared to the things that are true, or rather we always judge and assume things so quickly and don't realise the consequences and results of the assumed things. We are constantly searching for things that could possibly satisfy us but what we don't see is that we all can't have everything we want. We have this constant crave for perfection in things but every individual has different definitions of perfection and this is where ideas and thoughts collide. Anger starts to grow in people, then complaining and blaming comes into the picture, judging everything and assuming negative things when we don't know the actual truth because we don't get what we want.

I guess it is understandable for a person to get angry when someone else's thoughts does not match theirs, especially if it is something they strongly stand for. It does not mean we can continue to be angry and start blaming and complaining, expecting everything to go the way they want it to be. I believe that we are placed in certain conditions and situations that we should learn to accept. We should look at the good things and focus on the good things and not the bad; focus on the things that you have and not the things you don't. There are definitely two extremes ideas that everyone possesses- good and bad, but it is a choice whether you want to focus on the good or on the bad. We can't always expect perfection in this flawless world that we live in. In the end, these are all just earthly matters. We spend too much time in our lives condemning things, instead of spending time doing good things we can do while we can.

Keeping on track, focusing on good

You will be looking at all the wrong places if you don't seek God. He gives you the peace that surpasses anything, the peace that your heart craves for, the peace that the world can't give you. Pass these things that makes you anxious and He will switch your focus that gives you trouble to what is good and comforting, to what gives you peace.I believe that the world cannot receive him because it isn't looking for Him or recognise Him. If you really search for him, you will find Him because whatever you're looking for, you will find it. The harder you look, the more you'd find. Be mindful of what God has done for us. Remind yourselves that He is capable, good and faithful to us. Live aware His peace.

\\
For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, because we are not looking at what can be seen but what cannot be seen is eternal.
-2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Don't worry about anything. Instead pray about everything and thank him for all he has done. You will experience God's peace which exceeds anything we can understand.
-Philippians 4:6-7

Don't let your hearts be troubled. Instead trust in god.
John 14:1

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
-John 14:27
